Poly Electronics, LLC, a full-service electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider specializing in printed circuit board assembly, engineering, testing, and value-added manufacturing services, is pleased to announce the promotion of Paul Eastwood to Operations Manager, effective immediately.
In his expanded role, Eastwood will oversee the day-to-day operations of Poly Electronics, with responsibility for driving operational performance, efficiency, process improvement, cost reduction, employee development, and cross-functional execution throughout the organization.
“Paul has demonstrated a strong understanding of our business, our manufacturing processes, and, most importantly, our people,” said Matt Kain, President of Poly Electronics. “As Poly continues to grow and invest in our capabilities, it is increasingly important that we have strong operational leadership focused every day on execution and continuous improvement. Paul is the right person to lead that effort.”
Eastwood will work closely with Poly’s quality, supply chain, production, and operational teams to develop and execute an improvement plan focused on increasing efficiency, strengthening systems and processes, expanding employee cross-training, reducing costs, and creating greater accountability throughout the organization.
The promotion is part of Poly Electronics’ continued investment in its leadership team and manufacturing capabilities as the company positions itself for its next phase of growth.
“We have made significant investments in equipment, technology, engineering, and capacity over the last several years,” Kain added. “The next step is making sure we are maximizing those investments operationally. Eastwood’s promotion is effective immediately.
