Stock Room Assistant
Purpose:
Provide management with a visual representation of Poly Electronics Company’s performance.
This position Reports To: Stock Room Supervisor
General Summary:
The Stock Room Assistant works with the Stock Room Supervisor in assuring the effectiveness of all Stock Room operations, the furtherance of continuous improvement initiatives. In addition, this position emphasizes an internal department responsibility for process efficiency and quality.
Position Responsibilities:
- Accurately read and understand a B.O.M.
- Have a constant focus on accurate part pulls for production
- Work with purchasing on understanding all new incoming parts
- Is responsible (with the Stockroom Supervisor) for ALL incoming storage and outgoing pulls of all parts.
- Maintains a clean, orderly and safe workplace
- Supports and coordinates with other departments
- Process quality, meeting production and shipping requirements
- Recommends process improvements
- Continuously strives to attain and surpass department metrics
- Maintains a positive work atmosphere with all team members
- Communicates with team members in a respectful manner and conveys ideas or opinions in a way that promotes the established Poly Electronics team philosophy
- Understands the importance of their role in obtaining Poly Electronics quality objectives.

Test Department – Team Member
Purpose:

This position Reports To: Test Department Supervisor
General Summary:
The Team Member is responsible for the inspection and testing of manufacturing processes and products to ensure the product meets requirements. The Team Member works with a variety of inspection and test equipment and methods, processes and products, ensuring proper procedures are being followed.
Position Responsibilities:
• Execute and complete individual daily tasks per schedule.
• Maintain and actively support the Poly Electronics QMS.
• Performs inspection of product and process as directed and required.
• Supports activities to identify and control all forms of nonconforming product in accordance with procedures.
• Maintains reports and records as required by procedures.
• Participates in, and supports, continuous improvement projects and activities.
• Assists in problem solving – root cause analysis – corrective actions.
• Follows all safety policies and protocol.
• Communicates with team members in a respectful manner. Conveys ideas or opinions in a way that promotes the established Poly Electronics team philosophy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical drawings, work instructions and instruction manuals.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to walk or stand 25% of the working day. Ability to sit 75% of the day. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. unassisted multiple times a day. Ability to grasp and manipulate small parts.
• Lean and Six Sigma exposure a plus.

Shipping Team Member
Purpose:

This position Reports To: Production Manager
General Summary:
The Shipping – Team Member is responsible for the day to day operations of the Shipping Department. The Shipping – Team Member works with a variety of equipment and methods, processes and products, ensuring proper procedures are being followed and all requirements are met.
Position Responsibilities:
• Execute and complete individual daily tasks per schedule.
• Performs inspection of product and process as directed and required.
• Supports activities to identify and control all forms of nonconforming product in accordance with procedures.
• Assists in problem solving – root cause analysis – corrective actions.
• Follows all safety policies and protocol.
• Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs.
• Assemble and fill boxes and other cartons with items that need to be shipped.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical drawings, work instructions and instruction manuals.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics.
• Ability to stand for 90% of the day
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions and percentages to practical situations.

Inventory Control Associate
Purpose:
Poly Electronics is committed in providing adequate resources, for implementation and improvement of the QMS focusing on both our Internal & External Customers through Job Descriptions and specific Training.
This position Reports To: PURCHASING MANAGER
General Summary:
The Inventory Control Associate assists the Purchasing Manager in assuring the effectiveness of all Inventory operations for Poly Electronics in its entirety. This includes all departments in all areas company wide. Those areas include, but are not limited to: Stockroom, Production Floor, Surface Mount Dept., Packing, General Maintenance, Office Supplies and Employee Services.
Position Responsibilities:
Splice Surface Mount Inventory
Verify Component availability for Production pulls
Load Surface Mount Components onto feeders
Receives materials and confirms same with Purchase Orders
Inspects received materials to ensure conformance with expected product quality standards
Documents and retains records in accordance with Poly Electronics procedures
Assist in basic office functions as required.
Continual Improvement within areas of responsibility.
Work with the Quality department to address purchased material failures seeking supplier process and/or product improvements.
Communicates with team members in a respectful manner and conveys ideas or opinions in a way that promotes the established Poly Electronics team philosophy
Understands the importance of their role in obtaining Poly Electronics quality objectives.

The SMT Operator is responsible for the proper setup and placement of surface mount components onto circuit boards. The SMT Operator works with a variety of equipment and methods, processes and products, ensuring proper procedures are followed. This candidate must have experience working with surface mount components and machinery or at the very least be familiar with SMT practices and technology.
