Purpose:

Provide management with a visual representation of Poly Electronics Company’s performance.

This position Reports To:  Stock Room Supervisor

General Summary:

The Stock Room Assistant works with the Stock Room Supervisor in assuring the effectiveness of all Stock Room operations, the furtherance of continuous improvement initiatives. In addition, this position emphasizes an internal department responsibility for process efficiency and quality.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Accurately read and understand a B.O.M.
  • Have a constant focus on accurate part pulls for production
  • Work with purchasing on understanding all new incoming parts
  • Is responsible (with the Stockroom Supervisor) for ALL incoming storage and outgoing pulls of all parts.
  • Maintains a clean, orderly and safe workplace
  • Supports and coordinates with other departments
  • Process quality, meeting production and shipping requirements
  • Recommends process improvements
  • Continuously strives to attain and surpass department metrics
  • Maintains a positive work atmosphere with all team members
  • Communicates with team members in a respectful manner and conveys ideas or opinions in a way that promotes the established Poly Electronics team philosophy
  • Understands the importance of their role in obtaining Poly Electronics quality objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned

 Purpose:

This position Reports To: Director of Operations

General Summary:

The Quality Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and executing activities that ensure the consistent quality of products, processes, and materials throughout manufacturing operations. This role supports the development, maintenance, and improvement of quality systems, oversees inspections, audits, and root cause investigations, and works closely with cross-functional teams to drive compliance and continuous improvement.

Position Responsibilities:

• Oversee and handle the companies Quality Management System.

• Coordinate and perform product, process, and system inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.

• Serve as an internal auditor for the QMS, supporting audit planning, execution, and follow-up activities.

• Partner with Purchasing and Production to verify that incoming materials are correctly identified, documented, and inspected.

• Collect, analyze, and report on quality performance metrics using statistical methods and Excel-based tools.

• Work with the Operations team to identify opportunities for process improvement and lead corrective and preventive action initiatives.

• Facilitate root cause analysis sessions to ensure issues are effectively resolved and documented.

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and visual standards.

• Coordinate activities related to nonconforming products, including containment, documentation, and disposition.

• Train and support employees in inspection methods, quality standards, and proper documentation procedures.

• Prepare and distribute quality reports summarizing trends, test results, and improvement opportunities.

• Support compliance with all safety standards, company policies, and applicable regulations.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support the Quality Management System and company objectives.

 Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or quality-related training preferred.

• 1–2 years of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing environment preferred.

• Working knowledge of quality assurance principles, inspection techniques, and measurement tools.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining focus on quality objectives.
